Meet Gahanna Early Experience Center

In 1975, Gahanna Early Experience Center (G.E.E.C.) was founded by Cheryl Ingram and Sherry Ruby as a traditional Preschool offering half-day classes for young children. Today, as in the beginning, G.E.E.C. continues its dedication to quality education and parent satisfaction. The school is licensed and regulated by the State of Ohio.

In 2002, the G.E.E.C. obtained its non-profit status and operates under a Board of Directors.  The Board oversees the budget, tuition rates, salaries and curriculum of the school.

After many years at Peace Lutheran Church, the school relocated in 2003 to St. Luke Lutheran Church.  The school is a ministry of St. Luke and works together with The Preschool Ministry Committee to coordinate space usage, event coordination, playground planning, Christian curriculum and items that affect the church and school together.

Our Staff

Our warm and caring staff is the backbone of the school and has years, sometimes DECADES, of experience in the education of young children.  Most of our staff holds a college degree, as and several staff members have a masters degree in education. The Preschool Director is Jessica Miller.  Our administrator is Anita Teeters.  All school employees must pass a fingerprint and background check.
